At dressMyspace, we stand by the quality of our modular furniture, including kitchens, wardrobes, and storages, and offer a 10-year limited warranty from the date of installation. This warranty reflects our commitment to delivering durable and high-quality products. Below are the terms and conditions to help you understand what is covered under the warranty:

1. Scope of the Warranty
This warranty covers only defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use in modular furniture (kitchen, wardrobes, and storages) installed by dressMyspace, for a period of 10 years from the date of installation.

2. What is Covered?
Material Defects: Includes defects in core materials such as wood, plywood, laminates, hardware components (such as hinges, screws, runners), and finish materials.
Workmanship Defects: Covers issues that arise from improper manufacturing or installation.

3. What is Not Covered?
The following are not covered under the warranty:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Any damage resulting from regular use, including minor scratches, dents, or natural aging.
  • Misuse or Abuse: Damage caused by improper use, mishandling, overloading, or negligence. For example:
    • Excessive exposure to moisture, heat, or direct sunlight.
    • Stains, burns, cuts, or other forms of deliberate damage.
    • Improper cleaning methods, such as the use of harsh chemicals.
  • Modifications: Any modification, alteration, or repair not performed by dressMyspace or its authorized service providers.
  • External Causes: Damages caused by external factors such as accidents, natural disasters, pests (e.g., termites), floods, or improper building infrastructure (e.g., plumbing leaks).
  • Unmaintained Conditions: Failure to maintain environmental conditions as per recommended care instructions (humidity control, etc.).

4. Warranty Eligibility Requirements

  • This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • The furniture must be installed by dressMyspace and used in residential settings, under normal conditions.
  • Warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period and require the original invoice or proof of purchase.

5. How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has a defect covered by this warranty, please contact dressMyspace at connect@dressmyspace.com with:

  • A detailed description of the issue.
  • Photos and videos of the defect.
  • Proof of purchase.

dressMyspace will inspect the claim and, if found valid, may choose to either:
Repair the defective product, or
Replace the defective part or component at no cost.

6. Limitations and Liability

  • This warranty does not cover any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Warranty does not apply if the product is not used as per the guidelines provided by dressMyspace.
  • This warranty is applicable only to products used for their intended purpose.

7. Exclusion of Warranty for Specific Components
Certain components of the modular furniture, such as handles, hinges, and soft-close mechanisms, may have different warranty durations, provided by the third-party manufacturers. Such components will follow the manufacturer’s warranty and not the dressMyspace 10-year warranty.

8. Warranty Voidance
This warranty will be considered void if:

The product is moved, dismantled, or re-installed by any party other than dressMyspace or its authorized technicians.
The product is subjected to any structural changes or modifications.
